Principal Solutions Architect - ICX

Location: Remote, United States / Boston, MA

Salary: $293,400 annually, plus a target incentive of 7.5% of base salary

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery workshops and translate business outcomes, processes, data, systems, and constraints into executable solution approaches.
• Define end-to-end architectures across applications, data, integrations, AI, workflows, identity, security, and operations.
• Govern architecture documents, design decisions, technical scope, non-functional requirements, risks, dependencies, and change control.
• Direct consultants, developers, data and AI specialists, integration resources, QA teams, and partners through build, migration, testing, deployment, and transition to operations.
• Advise customers on architecture choices, tradeoffs, feasibility, risks, and Siemens best practices.
• Support proposals, demonstrations, estimates, reference architectures, reusable patterns, mentoring, and solution architecture practice development.

Requirements

• Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise software or digital transformation solutions.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary implementation teams from solution definition through build, integration, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Strong architecture skills across applications, data, integrations, workflows, security, scalability, performance, and supportability.
• Ability to translate business processes into solution designs, implementation guidance, and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent workshop facilitation, presentation, written communication, and executive-level technical storytelling skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience; willingness to travel across customer locations and time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with Siemens Digital Industries Software products such as Intelligence Center X, SLC, hirify.global, Teamcenter, NX, Opcenter, Graph Studio, or AI Studio.
• Experience connecting enterprise applications, industrial data, AI, low-code applications, and business workflows.
• Background in industrial, manufacturing, aerospace and defense, automotive, electronics, semiconductor, energy, or other complex enterprise environments.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid architectures, APIs, integration patterns, data platforms, identity and access management, DevSecOps, or observability.
• Architecture, cloud, platform, security, or Siemens product certifications.
