High-Altitude Pseudo Satellites - Project Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead HAPS payload projects from kickoff through planning, execution, integration, testing, and flight preparation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, customers, subcontractors, and external partners in a matrix structure.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, procurement, and estimated-at-completion financials.
• Ensure technical developments, design reviews, payload modifications, and verification activities meet customer requirements.
• Support hardware integration, quality assurance, mission preparation, and flight readiness.
• Contribute to project definitions, technical proposals, and cost and schedule estimates for new HAPS opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, aerospace, systems, electrical, mechanical, telecommunications, physics, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–7+ years of technical project management experience in aerospace, defense, space systems, or advanced telecommunications.
• Direct experience with hardware or software development lifecycles, payload development, integration, testing, verification and validation, or flight readiness.
• Experience managing customer interfaces, subcontractor deliverables, and compliance within contractual frameworks.
• English at C1 level is mandatory.
• Analytical, proactive, reliable, flexible, curious, and comfortable identifying risks and escalating concerns early.

Nice to have

• PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification.
• Spanish, Catalan, French, or German language skills.
• Technical engineering experience supporting an agile, multidisciplinary environment.
