Tooling Maintenance Technician (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Dismantle, move, assemble, install, align, inspect, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
• Rework and maintain tooling, including building and repairing lay-up tools.
• Set up and operate machine tools and fabrication equipment to create or rework parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, testing, and equipment repairs.
• Use PLCs, CNC equipment, blueprints, wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Perform rigging and equipment relocation while collaborating with vendors, engineering, production teams, customers, and management on root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to work any shift.
• Completion of a WorkKeys assessment or a high school diploma/GED.
• Ability to work onsite and perform physical production-floor duties, including lifting and carrying tools and equipment up to 30 lb.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Ability to travel independently and on short notice for approximately 5% domestic or international travel.
• Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators or masks, and protective gloves.

Nice to have

• TIG and/or laser welding experience.
