Project Superintendent

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States; on-site field construction role

Salary: $92,000–$134,000 per year, plus benefits and potential performance incentives.

What you will do

• Lead direct subcontractor workforces and control field operations, construction management activities, and site performance.
• Coordinate project execution with project management, engineering, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Plan critical paths, sequencing, work plans, look-ahead schedules, and site logistics.
• Direct multiple construction scopes and subcontractors while managing productivity, schedules, quality, and cost.
• Lead pre-construction activities, constructability reviews, risk identification, and early project execution.
• Enforce safety, quality control, contract, procurement, and regulatory requirements while resolving field issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of mechanical and electrical construction experience in complex commercial or government environments.
• Ability to review confidential U.S. security information.
• Experience with construction scheduling, CPM, contract administration, manpower planning, cost control, and risk mitigation.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and subcontractor management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and construction management tools.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• Certified Quality Manager certification.
• Experience leading large-scale field operations with multiple concurrent scopes.
• Extensive quality control and safety leadership experience on complex projects.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, building systems, and federal construction requirements.
