Project Superintendent (Energy Construction)

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States; onsite field leadership required for a federal construction project.

Salary: $92,000–$134,000 per year, plus benefits and potential performance incentives.

What you will do

• Lead direct subcontractor workforces and control field operations, construction management activities, and site performance.
• Coordinate project execution with project management, engineering, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Plan critical-path activities, sequencing, work plans, look-ahead schedules, and site logistics.
• Direct multiple scopes and subcontractors while managing schedules, productivity, quality, and cost-effective installation.
• Lead pre-construction and early project activities, including constructability reviews, scheduling strategy, and risk identification.
• Enforce safety, quality control, contract, procurement, and regulatory requirements while resolving field issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing construction experience in commercial or government environments.
• Ability to review confidential U.S. security information.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, contract administration, manpower planning, cost control, OSHA standards, building systems, and federal construction requirements.
• Ability to lead large-scale field operations, manage concurrent scopes, mitigate risk, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and construction management tools.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30-hour Certification.
• Certified Quality Manager (CQM) Certification.
• Extensive quality control and safety leadership experience on complex projects.
