Mission Manager (Deploy Only) (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States; hybrid office environment with extended international and OCONUS deployments on an approximately 60/60 rotation.

What you will do

• Coordinate high-priority mission deployments and secure required authorizations and clearances.
• Work with Host Nation representatives, U.S. Military Groups, U.S. Embassy agencies, and government stakeholders.
• Provide logistical support and strategic guidance for the effective use of U.S. Government assets.
• Develop and refine logistics strategies, maintain mission documentation, and ensure compliance with deployment requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Mission Operations Liaisons.
• Prepare high-level briefings and operational reports for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6+ years of relevant experience, or 10 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Mastery of military and government operations, including operational experience with Counterdrug, Crisis Negotiation Team, or Crisis Intervention Team surveillance, command and control, communications, long-range surveillance sensors, or security assistance.
• U.S. citizenship or another qualifying status under U.S. Government international trade regulations is required.
• Must be able to deploy for extended periods to OCONUS locations, work extended hours, holidays, and shifts, and complete an approximately 60/60 rotation.
• Must hold a valid passport, be able to obtain an international travel visa, meet DoD and Combatant Command requirements, and pass a pre-deployment medical assessment.
• Strong customer relationship, interpersonal, communication, coaching, and mentoring skills; ability to lift up to 25 lbs and use computer systems and software.

Nice to have

• Extensive Counterdrug, Crisis Negotiation Team, or Crisis Intervention Team systems experience.
• Fluency in multiple languages relevant to Host Nations.
• Advanced logistics or military operations certifications.
• Operational experience in Latin America and the Caribbean.
• Background in aerospace, defense, the U.S. Department of Defense, or the U.S. Military.
