Scientist 1 (Environmental Science)

Location: Mt Juliet, TN, United States. Onsite laboratory role, Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Salary: $19.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform, support, and oversee analysis of air, water, and soil samples.
• Apply established chemistry and biochemistry methods in an environmental testing laboratory.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Document procedures, observations, and results in organized laboratory records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or another STEM-related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work around strong odors, and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Required PPE includes a lab coat, safety glasses, and gloves; equipment is provided.
