Account Resolution Specialist

Location: Evansville, Indiana, United States — In Office. The schedule includes one evening per week until 7 PM, one Friday per month until 5 PM, and one Saturday per month from 8 AM to 12 PM.

What you will do

• Contact delinquent and charged-off customers by telephone to arrange repayment or settlement of account balances.
• Negotiate with customers to resolve accounts in accordance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate customer and account status information and documentation in the computer system.
• Share relevant account information with others involved in collections.
• Meet departmental call, quality assurance, and production standards.
• Maintain compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and state regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• In-depth understanding of collections and strong negotiation skills, including the ability to resolve escalated calls.
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong self-management and ability to prioritize the workday.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Ability to work in the Evansville office and meet the required evening, Friday, and Saturday schedule.

Nice to have

• Collections or call center experience.
• Sales experience.
