Project Engineer (Construction)

Location: Atlanta, United States; on-site construction job site work required

What you will do

• Support construction project administration, documentation, procurement, and closeout activities.
• Maintain submittal, specification, and RFI logs, meeting minutes, and as-built drawings.
• Review and expedite shop drawings and submittals.
• Identify subcontract scope gaps, assist with pricing change orders, and maintain punch lists.
• Use project management software for project and job setup.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards while collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and owners.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of relevant construction experience.
• College degree in a relevant field, or relevant field-construction experience with a commitment to obtaining a relevant degree.
• Fundamental understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Ability to identify and solve problems, manage time effectively, follow direction, and collaborate professionally.
• Ability to work consistently on an outdoor construction site, move equipment up to 50 pounds, and comply with timely attendance requirements.

Nice to have

• Internship experience with an architectural or commercial construction company.
• Experience with Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, Revit, or comparable construction technologies.
• Interest in integrated project delivery, process improvement, and construction technology.
