Working Student - Finance Digitalization, AI and Data Engineering

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid remote/office arrangement.

What you will do

• Support finance digitalization projects through analysis, testing, documentation, presentations, and project materials.
• Contribute to automation and process improvement using Power Apps, Power BI, and Alteryx.
• Prepare data, reports, and dashboards and support data quality activities for business decision-making.
• Support Snowflake-based analytics and data initiatives.
• Explore practical finance use cases for Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, and Snowflake Cortex.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders while maintaining training materials and knowledge repositories.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Basic knowledge of data visualization, SQL, databases, reporting tools, or cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Interest in automation, analytical programming such as Python or R, and emerging AI technologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
• Fluent English is required.
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a proactive mindset demonstrated through projects, hackathons, student organizations, or similar activities.

Nice to have

• Initial experience from internships, working student roles, academic projects, or personal initiatives in data analysis, reporting, automation, or analytics.
• German language skills.
