Maintenance Shop Technician A (Diesel Trucks)

What you will do

• Repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel heavy-duty trucks and refuse equipment.
• Diagnose and service chassis, suspension, drivetrain, steering, brake, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Perform engine, diesel fuel, emissions, aftertreatment, and REGEN diagnostics and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair heating and air conditioning systems.
• Use electronic scan tools to identify malfunctions and complete line maintenance, welding, and fabrication.
• Complete company training and perform additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience working as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate strong technical expertise.
• Ability to perform unsupervised inspections and repairs across relevant truck or automotive systems, including suspension, steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, and diesel emissions.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications T1–T8, LNG/CNG experience, and Class B or higher CDL are advantageous but not required.
