Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift (Automotive)

Location: High Point, North Carolina, United States; onsite, 3rd shift. Applicants must be able to work in or relocate to High Point. Relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: Up to $44.75 per hour, depending on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Perform emergency, unscheduled, scheduled, and preventive maintenance on industrial production equipment.
• Diagnose machinery problems using error messages, test results, operator information, gauges, voltmeters, and other testing devices.
• Disassemble, repair, replace, lubricate, adjust, and reassemble mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Install, align, balance, and maintain machinery, wiring, electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, and building systems.
• Inspect parts and equipment for defects, wear, and dimensional changes using precision measuring instruments.
• Test newly repaired machinery and complete all maintenance work to the prescribed standard.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of machines, tools, equipment design, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to determine causes of operating errors, select appropriate tools, and perform routine maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturer manuals and install equipment, wiring, or programs to specifications.
• Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States at the time of application.
• Visa sponsorship is not available, and existing visa holders are not eligible for this position.
