Prin Div Strategy Consultant - Governance (Remote)

Location: Remote, based in or associated with Chicago, Illinois, United States

Base pay: $92,700–$167,500 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Ensure field contractors comply with contracting standards, regulatory requirements, reimbursement standards, network policies, and approved templates.
• Provide ongoing guidance on contracting standards, line-of-business regulations, and the Contract Manager system.
• Support the review and resolution of non-standard contracting issues.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and matrix leadership on policy, contract language, administration requirements, reporting, and governance reviews.
• Contribute to Network Standards, Systems, Contracting Governance, and Network Governance for providers and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting; or a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of consulting experience in strategic planning, business development, and financial management operations; or 8 years of relevant health care industry experience.
• Experience leading and formulating strategy, building strong relationships, and working across departments in a matrixed environment.
• Experience with business analytics, information synthesis, strategic planning techniques, and industry trends.
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication, analytical, program management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with corporate leadership and manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced organization.

Nice to have

• Background in Compliance, Regulatory Operations, or Audit.
• Subject matter expertise in contracting, negotiation, provider or supplier services, project management, health plan operations, regulations, or accreditation standards.
• Experience translating complex conditions into risk-mitigation solutions and leading organizational change.
• Strong business acumen, matrix management, collaboration, and relationship management skills.
