Paper Finishing Operator II (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, USA. Schedule: A Shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; overtime, including short-notice requests, may be required.

What you will do

• Sort, label, inspect, and package finished goods according to customer specifications, quality requirements, and standard practices.
• Operate manual packaging processes, prepare cores, band finished rolls, and track multiple orders.
• Order and verify materials, run orders to product specifications, and perform routine machine setup and changeovers.
• Record operating data, downtime causes, and performance-to-plan information accurately.
• Coordinate information with shift and department personnel and assist with equipment maintenance as directed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, perform 5S duties and audits, and participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, service, teamwork, and root-cause problem solving.
• Ability to use computer applications and obtain a Lift Truck Operator’s License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work onsite in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, on the Monday–Friday A Shift schedule and work overtime when required.
• Successful completion of a post-offer background check and drug screening is required.
