Distribution Center Supervisor (Logistics)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota; on-site five days per week

Salary: $60,800.00–$109,479.99 annual base salary

What you will do

• Supervise second-shift distribution center operations and coordinate daily receiving, stocking, replenishment, order picking, shipping, and material-flow activities.
• Manage team performance and schedules to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, inventory, productivity, and engagement targets.
• Monitor shipping priorities, expedite urgent parts, assign rework, and maintain production flow.
• Develop standard work, coach team members, and lead training, problem-solving, and employee engagement activities.
• Inspect safety, quality, equipment, tooling, and process compliance, including accident follow-up and preventive training.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement projects and communicate operational issues and solutions to management.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, with 3+ years of warehouse or equivalent experience.
• Alternatively, pursuing a degree with completion within two years or possessing 5+ years of supervisory or proven distribution-operations experience.
• Experience across receiving, stocking, replenishment, cycle counting, order picking, and shipping processes.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, servant-leadership, and workforce-management skills.
• Ability to work around moving machinery, conveyors, vehicles, and other safety-sensitive equipment while using required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to walk and stand frequently, bend or stoop periodically, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Oracle or Dematic software experience.
• Experience with Lean principles and techniques.
• Union labor relations experience.
