Data Center Technician

Location: Denton, Texas, United States; full-time onsite. Minimal travel may be required, and shifts may vary according to the site.

What you will do

• Monitor and manage data center power, cooling capacity, environmental conditions, and infrastructure health.
• Operate CMMS and BMS systems to evaluate maintenance effectiveness and track facility conditions.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance for electrical and mechanical equipment with internal teams, customers, and contractors.
• Respond to electrical, mechanical, emergency, and critical facility incidents, troubleshoot issues, and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain facility data, work orders, change incidents, problem records, operating procedures, and performance metrics.
• Support construction, commissioning, safety programs, facility rounds, property management, and compliance activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a related degree or technical certification is preferred.
• At least three years of experience working in a data center environment.
• Technical knowledge of electrical distribution, emergency power, HVAC, fire protection, UPS systems, PDUs, CRAH units, BMS, and CMMS.
• Ability to perform algebraic calculations, write reports, and interpret schematic and architectural drawings.
• Valid driver's license and strong communication skills required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard software programs required; networking hardware and software knowledge is preferred.
