System Quality Engineer

Location: St. Petersburg, Florida, United States; onsite

Salary: $62,500–$140,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Provide technical support to customers, suppliers, and employees when resolving quality issues.
• Improve manufacturing, process, and product efficiency to reduce nonconforming products.
• Ensure products meet organizational and customer quality and product integrity requirements.
• Support product development and operations teams with analysis and expertise throughout inspections.
• Analyze quality and defect data to identify trends and prevent recurrence.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
• 0–3 years of experience in quality engineering or another engineering role.
• Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 quality standards.
• Expert knowledge and skills in process integration, plus strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate on cross-functional teams and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
