hirify.global develops the 3DCS dimensional variation analysis platform for geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, tolerance analysis, and variation simulation.

What you will do

• Translate user needs and functional requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Design, develop, document, and maintain functionality across multiple 3DCS product components, primarily using C++.
• Define and execute functional, regression, and numerical accuracy tests.
• Provide Level 3 support, investigate customer issues, and participate in release piloting and validation.
• Identify architectural risks, contribute to code reviews, and propose technical improvements.
• Share knowledge, support new joiners, and mentor an apprentice or intern.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software or Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field; equivalent demonstrated experience with a bachelor’s degree may be considered.
• At least three years of professional software development experience in languages used for commercial software products.
• Strong object-oriented design skills and proficiency in C++ or the ability to reach proficiency.
• Experience with version control, continuous integration, defect tracking, automated testing, and the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to work across a long-lived commercial codebase and learn an unfamiliar technical domain to a working level.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, knowledge-sharing, and informal leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GD&T, ASME Y14.5 or ISO GPS, tolerance analysis, and variation simulation.
• Experience with computational geometry, linear algebra, statistics, Monte Carlo methods, or numerical solvers.
• CAD or geometry kernel integration experience.
• Multithreaded, cross-platform, manufacturing, assembly, or performance-critical numerical development experience.
