TL;DR

What you will do

  • Build and maintain high-performance software and data systems for quantitative researchers and trading teams.
  • Implement raw exchange-data ingestion pipelines in modern C++ and operate them at high throughput.
  • Orchestrate and improve the reliability of data and compute pipelines on HPC clusters.
  • Create research tooling and ad-hoc computation frameworks using Python and C++ integrations for slicing, backtesting, and rapid iteration.
  • Develop simulation frameworks integrated with high-frequency and live-trading platforms.
  • Monitor distributed platforms, support quantitative-model training and deployment, and optimize performance, reliability, and resource efficiency.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience building large-scale, high-performance systems.
  • Daily professional use of modern C++ version 17 or later and Python.
  • Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, networking, operating systems, concurrency, and system design.
  • Experience with data schemas, storage formats, compression and I/O trade-offs, and pipelines handling hundreds of terabytes; familiarity with columnar formats such as Parquet or Arrow.
  • Experience designing and operating services or platforms for technical users in data-intensive environments.
  • Ability to ship production software safely, support internal users, communicate clearly, and collaborate empathetically.

Nice to have

  • Rust experience alongside C++ and Python.
  • Cluster-scale compute experience with Slurm, Kubernetes, Ray, Spark, or comparable schedulers.
  • GPU programming or machine-learning and deep-learning framework experience.
  • Finance, market-data, low-level market-connectivity, packet-processing, or deterministic simulation experience.
  • Platform engineering or developer-productivity experience for internal engineers or researchers.
