TL;DR
IT Engineer 2 (Vietnam) (IT operations and remote support): Maintaining reliable IT operations, secure device and access management, and a seamless technology experience for remote employees with an accent on end-user support, device lifecycle management, identity administration, and endpoint security. Focus on troubleshooting distributed workplace technology, automating provisioning and account workflows, and maintaining compliance across managed devices and accounts.

What you will do
- Provide remote support for hardware, software, accounts, connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN, conferencing, and workplace technology.
- Manage laptop, accessory, and peripheral inventory, including procurement, shipping, repairs, replacement, and recovery.
- Provision and manage devices through MDM platforms such as JAMF, Kandji, and Microsoft Intune.
- Administer user accounts, groups, applications, permissions, SSO, MFA, and joiner-mover-leaver processes.
- Support endpoint security, patching, encryption, device compliance, access reviews, audits, and security incident escalation.
- Improve IT operations through scripting, automation, documentation, knowledge bases, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in IT support, IT operations, systems administration, or a similar role.
- Experience supporting remote employees and troubleshooting hardware, software, account, and connectivity issues.
- Hands-on familiarity with MDM platforms such as JAMF, Kandji, or Microsoft Intune.
- Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Okta, JumpCloud, or similar identity and user administration platforms.
- Working knowledge of IP, DNS, VPNs, Wi-Fi, firewalls, device provisioning, asset management, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and independent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced global environment.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting Apple and Windows environments across multiple countries or time zones.
- Basic scripting or automation experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar tools.
- Experience with IT service management platforms, ticketing workflows, endpoint security, EDR, or DLP tools.
- Experience managing IT vendors and hardware logistics.
- Experience in a high-growth technology, e-commerce, or startup environment.
