Dynamics 365 Business Central Senior Developer (Microsoft Dynamics)

Salary: £60,000–£70,000 per annum

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and NAV customisations and extensions.
• Develop with AL, C/AL, and Visual Studio Code while applying Business Central architecture and development best practices.
• Build integrations with third-party systems and internal applications using APIs and web services.
• Produce technical designs and development documentation in collaboration with functional consultants and stakeholders.
• Support C/AL-to-AL conversions, upgrades, data migrations, deployments, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Lead development projects technically and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• 8 years of Microsoft Dynamics NAV development experience.
• 5 years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and AL development experience.
• Strong AL and C/AL skills, including event-driven programming and Extension v2.
• Experience with Visual Studio Code, Git, APIs, web services, and integrations.
• Knowledge of Finance, Warehousing, and Inventory business processes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, technical design, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate experience.
• Azure DevOps experience.
• Functional Business Central experience.
• Experience in a Microsoft Dynamics Partner environment.
• Experience leading a small development team or working on upgrades and implementations.
