Senior Component Engineer (Battery Systems)

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams through the development, validation, industrialization, and release of battery system components.
• Manage component requirements, technical specifications, project plans, milestones, schedules, risks, resources, and target deviations.
• Coordinate technical interfaces with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Lead claim management, root cause analysis, corrective actions, engineering changes, concern resolution, and release activities.
• Plan and monitor validation activities, maturity assessments, readiness reviews, and production release decisions.
• Provide technical leadership, status reporting, escalation management, and recommendations for assigned components.

Requirements

• Degree or technical diploma in mechanical, electrical, automotive, electromechanical, or industrial engineering.
• Professional experience with automotive series development processes and solid knowledge of APQP.
• Understanding of series production requirements, industrialization processes, project management, and system or component responsibility.
• Business-fluent English and French, with excellent communication, presentation, and moderation skills.
• Strong goal orientation, self-organization, responsibility, entrepreneurial thinking, and willingness to travel for acquisition and project activities.
• Knowledge of eRGPQP and LUP SIGNE Ingénierie tools is desirable.
