In-House Tech Recruiter (9-month FTC)

Location: Manchester, UK — hybrid working with at least 50% of working time spent in the office each month; new starters initially work full-time from the office.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across Development, Infrastructure, Information Security, PMO, and other IT functions.
• Partner with hiring managers to define needs and deliver tailored recruitment strategies.
• Advise on candidate availability, salary expectations, market conditions, and attraction approaches.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, direct search, headhunting, networking, job boards, and other channels.
• Build candidate pipelines and talent pools for current and future hiring needs.
• Manage screening, interviews, feedback, offers, candidate communication, and activity in SmartRecruiters.

Requirements

• Proven end-to-end recruitment experience in an in-house or agency environment.
• Experience independently managing vacancies from briefing through offer and recruiting technical and digital talent at all levels.
• Strong direct sourcing, headhunting, LinkedIn, and candidate pipeline-building skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organisation, prioritisation, and self-management skills.
• Good understanding of UK recruitment legislation, data protection, right-to-work, and immigration requirements.
• Experience with an applicant tracking system is advantageous.
