Corporate Accounting Manager

Location: Sydney, Australia. Hybrid work with regular in-person collaboration at the Sydney campus; the role supports the team during AU hours.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop local corporate accountants, including performance management and career development.
• Support the month-end close process by reviewing and preparing journals, reconciliations, flux analysis, and other close activities.
• Partner with accounting, tax, FP&A, business, and other cross-functional stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and clarify treatment.
• Manage the integration of accounting processes and systems for acquired entities and support seamless consolidation.
• Maintain internal controls and documentation while improving close efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Support accounting projects, system enhancements, process documentation, and broader business transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience managing and developing high-performing accounting teams, with strong coaching and mentorship skills.
• Strong technical and operational corporate accounting expertise, including experience establishing standardized policies, processes, procedures, and controls.
• Extensive experience with SOX-compliant internal controls.
• Ability to partner effectively with FP&A, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or another enterprise ERP and adjacent tools.
• Ability to work from Sydney and support corporate accounting activities during AU hours.

• Experience with FloQast, AI tools, Canva, or global accounting teams.
