Backend Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performing backend systems.
• Build REST APIs and engineer microservices for greenfield and existing systems.
• Develop systems supporting card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto liquidity.
• Collaborate on business logic with a focus on clean, maintainable code and fast delivery.
• Contribute to products used by millions of people in hypergrowth environments.

Requirements

• Demonstrable backend development experience and fluency in Java.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or another scientific discipline.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Experience building complex products for large user bases in hypergrowth startups.
• Strong communication, learning ability, ambition, and results orientation.
