Associate Director – CRE Loan Servicing, CIB Portfolio Management - 12-month FTC

Location: London, Birmingham or Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Hybrid working requires spending at least two days per week, or 40% of working time, at an office site.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of long-dated Corporate Real Estate loans under a servicing contract with Scottish Widows.
• Work with lenders, Coverage, Execution, Credit Risk teams and external advisers to maintain portfolio performance and manage risk.
• Support loan lifecycle events, including consent requests, waivers, amendments and annual reviews.
• Prepare credit papers, perform financial and credit analysis, and monitor emerging risks.
• Build relationships with clients ranging from privately owned businesses and family offices to FTSE 250 companies.
• Deliver clear reporting and support informed lending and risk decisions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of credit experience in Corporate Real Estate, including financial analysis and credit risk assessment.
• Client-facing experience in a Corporate Real Estate lending and credit environment.
• Experience preparing credit papers and a sound understanding of Loan Market Association documentation.
• Experience supporting complex loan lifecycle events, including material waivers, amendments and renewals.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a hybrid pattern from the London, Birmingham or Edinburgh office sites.
