Product Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Amsterdam, Netherlands; flexible arrangements include one day from home.

What you will do

• Manage engineering changes across the full product lifecycle, including Engineering Change Notices and stakeholder implementation.
• Maintain product configurations, bills of materials, product structures, and technical documentation in the PLM system.
• Govern controlled releases, obsolescence planning, risk assessments, and transitions from new product introduction into production.
• Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and non-conformances using 8D and A3 methodologies.
• Drive modularization, standardization, cost optimization, quality improvements, and Lean production improvements.
• Bridge engineering and production teams to support product transitions and ongoing product performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent relevant technical experience.
• Experience working with complex systems in a relevant engineering field.
• Analytical, proactive, and systematic approach to problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken, is required for documentation and international collaboration.
• Familiarity with PLM software is advantageous.
