What you will do

• Inspect, maintain, and repair non-vehicle RADR equipment according to technical orders, commercial manuals, regulations, and Air Force instructions.
• Repair military, industrial, and commercial equipment, including pumping systems, lifting equipment, forklifts, towing equipment, and gasoline- and diesel-powered engines.
• Remove, disassemble, repair or replace components, perform operational adjustments, and conduct functional tests.
• Use ILS-S, ELMS, and other designated government systems to document inspections, maintenance, equipment status, and repair requirements.
• Prepare monthly inventory reports covering equipment location, condition, and status, and reconstitute deployed equipment for storage.
• Maintain shop-floor safety, environmental practices, housekeeping, lubrication schedules, corrosion control, and other assigned support duties.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in vehicle and mechanical repair.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish and speak, read, write, and understand English at Level I.
• High school completion or equivalent.
• Spanish Class B driver’s license.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 30 kilograms and work around machinery, noise, fumes, chemicals, grease, and changing weather conditions.

Nice to have

• Valid Class C driver’s license.
