Telecommunication Engineer for Radio Systems (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid working model when possible

What you will do

• Integrate radio systems into the EF2000 platform and support communications work across C295, MRTT, A400M, ED, and SIRTAP aircraft platforms.
• Allocate aircraft requirements to communications systems and define system architectures and specifications.
• Produce engineering design documentation and support design reviews, customer meetings, technical publications, and cross-functional activities.
• Manage suppliers technically and support feasibility studies for new products and user needs.
• Lead or support communications system design, integration, qualification, certification, and test campaign activities.
• Sequence tests, prepare procedures and facilities, monitor testing, and analyze results in real time; contribute to SDR/SCA radio research and technology programs.

Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a similar discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in systems engineering or avionics system development.
• Knowledge of communications functions, Inmarsat and Iridium Satcom, V/UHF, VHF and HF radios, and civil datalinks including FANS and CPDLC.
• International project experience and knowledge of international regulations from ICAO, FAA, EASA, and EUROCONTROL.
• Strong English and Spanish skills required.
• Strong communication, assertiveness, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under strict timescales in an integrated multifunctional team.
