Pressure Test Operator (Aerospace)

Location: Laconia, New Hampshire, United States; 1st shift Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM, or 2nd shift Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM–1:45 AM. Second-shift employees must be able to train on the first shift.

What you will do

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of materials, tube details, components, assemblies, and finished products.
• Inspect and test parts against blueprints, customer instructions, and company operating requirements.
• Select appropriate fittings, feeds, and caps for pressure testing.
• Lift, position, connect, disconnect, and remove workpieces from the pressure test tank.
• Conduct tests using specified PSI and time limits while operating tank interlocks and safety mechanisms.
• Monitor tests for bubble formation, seepage, and water droplets and maintain reliable attendance.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training is acceptable.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, customer instructions, and operating procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
