Senior Product Compliance Manager (Crypto)

What you will do

• Own day-to-day compliance reviews for new products, features, market expansions, and material product changes across the global product suite.
• Review product requirements, technical documentation, user journeys, onboarding flows, trading and transaction mechanics, reward structures, disclosures, and operational processes.
• Conduct and document risk assessments covering licensing, regulatory perimeter, AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC, consumer protection, financial promotions, market conduct, asset safeguarding, data privacy, and third-party risk.
• Define practical mitigants, controls, jurisdictional restrictions, monitoring requirements, escalation routes, and risk-acceptance recommendations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, Audit, and local and central Compliance teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Maintain audit trails, support post-launch monitoring and control testing, drive remediation, and deliver compliance-by-design guidance and training.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Legal, or Risk within financial services, fintech, payments, or cryptocurrency.
• Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business, economics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience in product compliance, regulatory advisory, or product risk assessment for new products and material product changes.
• Strong understanding of digital-asset products, including trading, custody, payments, staking, lending, structured products, wallets, or DeFi.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical product requirements, controls, and repeatable compliance solutions.
• Strong project-management, communication, stakeholder-management, judgment, and escalation skills; experience leveraging AI-enabled technology for risk assessment.

Nice to have

• Product compliance or regulatory advisory experience at a crypto exchange, fintech, or technology-led financial-services company.
• Experience supporting multi-jurisdictional launches across the United States, European Union, Middle East, or Asia-Pacific.
• Knowledge of CeFi trading products, Web3, blockchain technology, smart contracts, DeFi protocols, and digital-asset transaction flows.
• Experience developing compliance risk-assessment frameworks, controls, and key risk indicators.
