Associate Financial Accounting (Controllers)

What you will do

• Provide technical accounting advice on transactions, corporate activities, new products, restructurings, and complex transactions.
• Partner with business units and corporate functions on accounting implications and upcoming accounting changes.
• Assess new financial reporting developments and interpret emerging technical accounting issues under IFRS and U.S. GAAP.
• Research and document accounting policy matters and support the implementation of financial statement disclosures and SEC filings.
• Deliver training on accounting developments, emerging issues, and firm accounting policies.
• Engage with external auditors, regulators, standard setters, and industry groups on accounting policy matters.

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualification required.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS required; experience with U.S. GAAP is desirable.
• Big Four accounting experience in financial services is preferred.
• Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-divisional teams.
• Ability to work on-site in the London office.
