HW Test Means Engineer (Military Derivatives)

Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working when possible.

What you will do

• Design electro-mechanical energy laboratory test means, including technologies, instrumentation, and materials.
• Lead technical milestone meetings across the development lifecycle, including Kick-Off, Preliminary Design Review, and Critical Design Review.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks while supporting project opportunities and delivery plans.
• Validate and verify designs and technical documentation, including commissioning and Acceptance Test Procedures before entry into service.
• Evaluate suppliers through Call For Tender procurement processes and support manufacturing through final delivery.
• Coordinate with Design Office interfaces while maintaining health, safety, and product regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• A degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in electro-mechanical design, validation, verification, project management, test benches, and test means technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in 3D CATIA V5 and project management methodologies.
• Negotiation-level English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Strong initiative, customer-oriented communication, credibility, and collaborative experience in transnational, multifunctional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with tooling, manufacturing processes, interconnection wiring, or measurement sensors.
• Software programming experience in LabVIEW or VeriStand.
