Design & Development Lab Test Means Engineer (Military Derivatives)

What you will do

• Design, manufacture, modify, retrofit, and maintain functional, software, and electronic test benches across Airbus programs.
• Analyze program requirements and deliver laboratory test means and test solution systems within quality, time, cost, and performance targets.
• Define test means specifications, support supplier selection, and manage subcontracted realization activities.
• Control aircraft equipment configuration on test means, including export control compliance and logistics movements.
• Plan budgets, tenders, regulatory compliance engineering, verification procedures, component verification, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams and provide second-level support for existing test benches.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in aeronautical, industrial, electronics, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in laboratory test means design.
• Knowledge of lab test means architecture design, configuration control, export control compliance, and Product Regulatory Compliance engineering.
• Strong project management, customer-focused communication, collaboration, and change management skills.
• Advanced written and spoken English required; Spanish is highly recommended.

• Experience modifying and maintaining functional and software test benches.
