Production Engineer (Textiles)

What you will do

• Evaluate prospective suppliers’ production facilities, quality systems, technical capabilities, and quality performance.
• Secure implementation of product specifications, requirements, compliance measures, and quality standards at supplier facilities.
• Plan and participate in quality audits, including preparation, gap analysis, and gap closure.
• Manage compliance deviations, safety alarms, claims, and quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop supplier production processes, create action plans, and share best practices.
• Support product development and adaptation by verifying measurement systems, production capability, critical-to-quality requirements, labels, technical data, and benchmarks.

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of production processes and technologies.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance setup, materials, cost calculation, and supplier quality evaluation.
• Good knowledge of Lean production methods and tools, including root cause analysis, FMEA, and fishbone analysis.
• Good understanding of customer needs, Democratic Design, product functionality, customer friendliness, and critical-to-quality characteristics.
• Strong analytical, structured, process-oriented, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to build long-term supplier relationships and work collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of hirify.global requirements, standards, test methods, and documentation systems such as PDOC and CONNECT.
