Manufacturing Engineer with Design Knowledge (Aerospace)

Location: Brasov, Romania. Mandatory training in Germany and availability to travel to Germany are required.

What you will do

• Act as the central technical contact at the interface between engineering and manufacturing.
• Create, validate, manage, and update manufacturing data for parts, assemblies, tools, and production processes.
• Analyze and adapt engineering models to create manufacturing-ready databases and ensure industrial compliance.
• Optimize model data and digital process chains to improve manufacturing stability, flexibility, and series efficiency.
• Support the reliable deployment of automation systems through validated, process-optimized data.
• Coordinate external engineering suppliers and verify that delivered analyses, tool data, and designs meet quality and integration requirements.

Requirements

• Knowledge of CATIA V5 and design-for-manufacturing principles.
• Experience with manufacturing and assembly of metallic and composite components.
• Knowledge of PLM and ERP systems, including VPM, PASS, and SAP, for component structure and data management.
• Experience with engineering change management and integration of technical modifications into digital product structures.
• Basic knowledge of structural analysis using FEM and programming for process automation.
• Availability for mandatory training in Germany and business travel to Germany.
