Client Consulting Manager, Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) 12-Month Fixed Term (Payments/Financial Services)

Location: Sydney, Australia; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Deliver consulting engagements for clients in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands across payments strategy, digital solutions and portfolio optimisation.
• Prepare client proposals, project plans, interview guides, data requirements, concepts and analytical frameworks.
• Conduct client interviews and analyse business, process, policy, competitive and environmental information.
• Develop and present PowerPoint reports containing findings, ideas and recommendations.
• Manage project delivery, governance, dependencies and complex problems through to resolution.
• Manage Associates, Analysts and Interns while collaborating with client relationship managers and functional teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in consulting or corporate strategy.
• Experience in payments or financial services, including consumer banking.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and detail-oriented skills, with experience building business-case models in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong proficiency with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude.
• Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a matrixed organisation.
• Experience with customer experience design, human-centred design or design thinking.
