Associate Director, Regulatory Change & Enablement (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Monitor and interpret regulatory developments from APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, ATO, and other regulatory bodies.
• Assess impacts of regulatory change across Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting, operations, products, and client service models.
• Develop impact assessments, recommendations, operational guidance, business documentation, and readiness materials.
• Provide subject-matter expertise for business-as-usual regulatory queries and support practical implementation with Operations, Product, PMO, and delivery teams.
• Lead Client Regulatory Forums and present regulatory changes, impacts, and recommended approaches to clients and Responsible Entities.
• Support operational readiness, training, capability uplift, and continuous improvement of regulatory enablement practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in regulatory change or compliance within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, and ATO regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Experience with risk frameworks, compliance controls, data governance, audits, and regulatory engagement.
• Experience in Transfer Agency and/or Fund Accounting, including service provider obligations and client impacts.
• Strong advisory, written communication, presentation, stakeholder engagement, and client-facing capabilities.
• Ability to interpret complex regulation and translate it into operationally workable solutions, readiness plans, and capability uplift.
