TL;DR
QA Automation Engineer (C++): Designing and maintaining automated test suites for a sophisticated desktop application with an accent on frontend, backend, integration, and API testing. Location: Valencia, Spain; hybrid schedule with 1 office day and 4 home-office days per week.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for desktop applications.
- Execute and improve end-to-end testing across frontend functionality, backend services, system integrations, and APIs.
- Validate APIs and backend services using Postman and other testing tools.
- Collaborate with software engineers, QA specialists, and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, support issue resolution, and improve automation frameworks.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in QA automation.
- Strong experience testing desktop applications.
- Hands-on experience with Squish or another test automation framework.
- Experience testing frontend functionality, backend services, system integrations, and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing, plus understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Fluent English, spoken and written, is mandatory.
Nice to have
- Experience with C++ application development environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with test automation best practices and quality metrics.
- Experience with international and cross-functional teams.
