QA Automation Engineer (Desktop) (Desktop Applications/QA Automation): Designing and maintaining automated test suites for a sophisticated desktop application with an accent on frontend, backend, integration, and API testing. Location: Valencia, Spain; hybrid work with 1 day in the office and 4 days from home

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for sophisticated desktop applications.
- Execute and improve end-to-end testing across frontend functionality, backend services, system integrations, and APIs.
- Validate APIs and backend services using Postman and other testing tools.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, QA specialists, and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and support issue resolution.
- Improve testing processes and automation frameworks.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in QA Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience testing desktop applications.
- Experience with Squish or another test automation framework.
- Experience testing frontend functionality, backend services, system integrations, and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and validation.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; fluent spoken and written English is mandatory.
Nice to have
- Experience working with C++ applications.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with test automation best practices and quality metrics.
- Exposure to international and cross-functional teams.
