Mechanical Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Bangalore, India. Onsite role with approximately 20% travel. Relocation is not available.

What you will do

• Identify and troubleshoot difficult mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering tests and reports.
• Develop and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform engineering analysis and implement mechanical solutions for complex product issues.
• Lead or execute projects, develop suppliers, and generate mechanical product specifications.
• Design custom tooling and fixtures and establish standards for handling, assembly, and disassembly processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis, or Design for Excellence principles.
• Ability to specify and review engineering documentation and communicate complex technical information.
