Area Manager (Retail)

What you will do

• Lead a group of stores with Store Managers to deliver sales, profitability, and operational results.
• Ensure consistent H&M standards, ways of working, and customer experience across stores.
• Adapt campaigns, store activations, and commercial priorities to the local market.
• Coach and develop Store Managers, strengthen succession planning, and support team engagement.
• Partner with People, Expansion, Tech, Visual, Controlling, and other stakeholders to align store and market priorities.
• Manage risks, ensure compliance, support sustainability goals, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail, or a similar field, or 5+ years of strong retail leadership experience managing multiple stores or teams.
• Strong understanding of sales, operations, and customer experience.
• Ownership, accountability, follow-through, and a results-oriented approach.
• Experience coaching and developing people, communicating across levels, and leading change.
• Application in English is required.
