Shift Supervisor (Plastic Moulding)

What you will do

• Lead and support the shift production team to achieve safety, quality, and production targets.
• Allocate daily tasks, monitor production performance, and complete shift handovers.
• Ensure machines operate safely, efficiently, and within specification.
• Conduct product quality checks and address non-conformances.
• Coordinate maintenance activities, support breakdown resolution, and respond to operational issues.
• Monitor waste and downtime, take corrective action, and maintain accurate production records.

Requirements

• Experience leading or coordinating teams in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with plastic moulding, including injection, blow moulding, or extrusion, is required.
• Strong understanding of production processes, equipment operation, troubleshooting, and quality standards.
• Working knowledge of WHS, food safety, quality, environmental, and business management requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, people management, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical or trade qualification in manufacturing, engineering, or a related discipline, with experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging, plastics, or a similar high-volume environment.
