Apartment Maintenance Technician - Preston Reserve

Location: Onsite in Cary, NC, USA

Salary: $20.00–$23.78 per hour, plus monthly customer service satisfaction bonuses of up to $250.

What you will do

• Complete basic apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Handle resident service requests and routine maintenance repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical components, HVAC equipment, appliances, and other apartment systems.
• Provide technical direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians when needed.
• Support vendor quality management and conduct move-in and move-out inspections.
• Respond to emergency service requests during on-call shifts.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in facilities or building environments.
• Proficiency in at least two technical trades, such as plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, or carpentry.
• Ability to work onsite in Cary, NC, including evenings, weekends, seven-day work weeks, and on-call shifts.
• Reliable transportation for after-hours emergency service requests.
• Ability and willingness to move heavy equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
