Manufacturing Process Sustaining Engineer (Optical Photonics)

Location: Pathumthani (Navanakorn), Thailand; onsite work in office, engineering laboratory, cleanroom, and manufacturing-floor environments

What you will do

• Monitor and maintain manufacturing-process stability using SPC and analytical tools.
• Provide technical support to production operators and technicians and troubleshoot process, yield, quality, material, and equipment issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop, validate, and implement improvements that increase quality and yield while reducing defects, cycle time, and manufacturing costs.
• Support new product introduction, process transfers, qualifications, validations, pilot builds, and production ramp-up.
• Maintain process specifications, work instructions, control plans, Engineering Change Orders, and audit documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, process, or sustaining engineering.
• Knowledge of SPC, root-cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA, DOE, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
• Strong troubleshooting, data-analysis, problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Good command of English communication is required.
• Ability to work in office, laboratory, cleanroom, and manufacturing-floor environments and use required protective equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience in optical, photonic, electronics, semiconductor, or other high-technology manufacturing.
• Experience supporting automation and manufacturing-efficiency initiatives.
