Senior Manager, Procurement & Procurement Operations (SaaS/AI)

Location: Hybrid, 3 days per week in the Toronto office at 351 King Street East, Toronto, Ontario

Salary: $120,000–$145,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Own and evolve the global procurement strategy, operating model, roadmap, governance, policies, and controls.
• Lead complex strategic sourcing initiatives, competitive processes, supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, and ongoing vendor management.
• Build centralized contract and vendor repositories, renewal management, SaaS license and seat optimization, and vendor lifecycle processes.
• Evaluate and implement procurement, contract lifecycle management, spend management, automation, and AI technologies.
• Develop procurement analytics, dashboards, KPIs, executive reporting, savings methodologies, and spend intelligence.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, IT, Information Security, Privacy, and business leaders on commercial decisions, vendor risk, and transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, procurement operations, or vendor management.
• Experience building or significantly transforming procurement capabilities, governance, processes, or operating models.
• Significant experience leading complex commercial negotiations and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of technology procurement, SaaS licensing, software subscriptions, cloud services, and professional services agreements.
• Experience with contract repositories, renewal management, procurement workflows, CLM or procurement technology, spend analytics, and executive reporting.
• Strong commercial judgment, analytical and financial modeling skills, and the ability to advise senior leaders across multiple business functions.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing or optimizing procurement, spend management, vendor management, or CLM platforms.
• Experience applying AI, automation, or advanced analytics to procurement or contract management.
• Experience with SaaS license and seat optimization programs or global procurement across multiple jurisdictions.
• Professional procurement certification such as SCMP, CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent.
