Registered Nurse, RN, Clinical Leader Cath Lab

Location: Tufts Medical Center; current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required

Pay: Full-time equivalent pay range determined based on experience, certifications, education, skills, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Assist the Clinical Nursing Director with planning, delivering, and managing direct patient care for the assigned clinical unit.
• Coordinate patient care, assess nursing practice, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and professional standards.
• Mentor and coach nursing staff while supporting primary nursing, orientation, preceptor, and professional development programs.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, support departments, and unit leadership on patient-care plans and changing staffing needs.
• Develop and monitor practice guidelines, competencies, unit procedures, and quality improvement activities.
• Participate in departmental and hospital committees and provide leadership for practice initiatives.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in a health-related field or another field with significant health-related coursework is desired.
• Three years of demonstrated clinical competence in the relevant nursing practice area required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Clinical leadership, communication, organization, delegation, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to manage emergency and crisis situations and work under varying and unpredictable conditions.
