Program Manager (Medical Devices): Leading complex cross-functional programs for innovative medical device instrumentation, software, consumables, and ancillaries from concept through manufacturing transfer and commercialization with an accent on end-to-end accountability, governance, risk management, and technical performance. Focus on coordinating R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams, driving integrated program plans, and delivering electro-mechanical products to market.
Location: Fully onsite in Mount Waverley, Victoria, Australia

What you will do
- Lead complex cross-functional programs from concept through manufacturing transfer and commercialization.
- Manage program scope, resources, risks, budget, schedule, dependencies, and technical performance.
- Partner with Product Management and the Program Lead Engineer to deliver high-value projects and optimize technical solutions.
- Develop integrated program plans and drive governance across multiple workstreams.
- Monitor milestones, performance metrics, risks, issues, and critical decisions, communicating progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Coordinate closely with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to support development, product transfer, and launch.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of program management experience, including successful delivery of at least two complex programs.
- At least 5 years of experience leading cross-functional product development projects through the full systems development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated success bringing complex electromechanical products from development through commercial launch.
- Professional, engineering, or science qualification, or formal program/project management accreditation such as PMI or PRINCE2.
- Ability to work fully onsite in Mount Waverley, Victoria, Australia.
Nice to have
- Experience managing Agile software development programs.
- Experience in medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences, or scientific instrumentation.
- Experience in manufacturing, product sustainment, and operations for complex electromechanical products.
- Experience applying Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Business System methodologies.
