Program Performance Manager

Location: Adelaide or Melbourne, Australia; hybrid work from home and office may be considered. Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level.

What you will do

• Establish, implement, and manage the CSI-IPT Enterprise Performance Management Framework.
• Deliver enterprise and Tasking Statement performance reporting to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Manage performance reviews, reporting cycles, governance cadence, and action tracking.
• Analyse performance trends and provide insights to support program decisions and delivery outcomes.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations covering schedule, cost, risk, resource, and other delivery measures.
• Support the CSI Manager, Project Managers, Engineering Leadership, and industry partners with performance analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Qualification or demonstrated experience in Project Controls, Governance, Performance Management, or PMO-related disciplines.
• More than 5 years of experience in similar roles within Defence.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills for senior leaders and governance forums.
• Australian citizenship and an Australian Defence Security Clearance at NV1 level, or the ability to obtain one, are required.

Nice to have

• Formal project management certification such as PMP, CPPM, or equivalent.
