Associate Director Program Lead (Telecommunications)

Location: Macquarie Park, NSW, Australia; hybrid arrangement with three days in the office and two days remote or from home

What you will do

• Lead the strategic delivery, transformation, and modernisation of the Service Fulfilment portfolio across Consumer, Enterprise, and Wholesale domains.
• Establish integrated portfolio plans covering large-scale programs, platform enhancements, lifecycle activities, and operational commitments.
• Drive governance, milestone assurance, dependency management, RAID oversight, executive reporting, and delivery confidence.
• Coordinate business, technology, architecture, delivery, development, and vendor stakeholders across complex workstreams.
• Apply waterfall, agile, hybrid, and scaled delivery methodologies, including AI-enabled delivery practices.
• Manage vendor performance and drive continuous improvement, operational readiness, and business value realisation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading complex technology programs, large-scale transformations, or enterprise delivery portfolios.
• Experience in telecommunications, OSS platforms, service fulfilment, enterprise technology, software delivery, or system integration.
• Experience leading programs with multiple workstreams, technical dependencies, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
• Expertise in program governance, integrated planning, schedule management, risk and dependency management, and benefits realisation.
• Strong understanding of agile, waterfall, hybrid, and scaled delivery methodologies.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, executive communication, team leadership, and matrix-organisation influence.
